A comparison, sourced

NaRestro vs Petpooja — what we could actually verify.

Petpooja is a large, established player — by their own numbers, over 150,000 businesses use something in their suite. We’re not pretending otherwise. What follows is what we found when we actually went looking, not a strawman.

What we actually found researching Petpooja’s pricing

Petpooja’s own pricing page (petpooja.com/poss/pricing) lists three tiers — Core, Growth, Scale — with feature checklists and a “Book A Demo” button, and states in its own words that “local pricing may vary based on your region & currency — contact us for accurate, localized rates.” No rupee figure appears anywhere on the page. The one number we could verify from a third party is G2’s listing for Petpooja POSS, which shows an international rate of $50–135/month — not an India-specific figure, and not something Petpooja publishes itself. Every “₹3,000–12,000/month” figure circulating on comparison blogs traces back to unsourced SEO content, not a vendor disclosure or a verified customer invoice — so we’re not repeating it as fact.

How modules are pricedA la carte by tier — their own Growth plan is literally “choose any 5” add-ons, implying the rest cost extra. One price per plan. Ordering, kitchen display, waiter app and owner dashboard are included together, not sold as separate add-ons.
What it’s built forA broader SME back-office suite — POS billing, payroll (Attendo), invoicing, and task management, across many business types. One thing, done deep: the guest-to-kitchen-to-floor loop for a restaurant, specifically.
Guest-facing menuPrimarily a back-office and billing tool — the guest ordering experience is not the product’s centre of gravity. The guest menu is the front door — multi-language, AI dish stories, voice narration, live order tracking.
ScaleReports 1,50,000+ businesses on its own site — a large, established base we have no reason to doubt. One real, verifiable deployment today: Latte Global Cafe, Visakhapatnam — see the live menu yourself.

Petpooja’s figures reflect what is published on petpooja.com and g2.com as of writing. We have no relationship with Petpooja and did not use a fabricated number to make this table look better — see the sourcing note above.

Where Petpooja is genuinely ahead — for now

Scale and breadth. A back-office suite covering payroll, invoicing and task management alongside POS is a real advantage for an owner who wants one vendor for everything, and 150,000+ businesses is a track record NaRestro doesn’t have yet. If your priority is a mature, all-purpose back office across many locations, that history is worth weighing. NaRestro’s bet is that the guest-to-kitchen-to-floor experience deserves to be the deepest part of the product, not a module bolted onto billing software — see for yourself on the live menu.
